Just a short climb down the stairway through the ancient Pohutukawa trees lands you at the picturesque bay with an amazing outlook through the harbour entrance towards Matakana island. Explore some of the hidden caves and search for the hidden treasure!

• • Locals tip – Be sure to time your walk within 1.5 hours either side of Low tide, that way you get full advantage of the bay and caves. For the fishos; get there early to nab the best position at the Eastern end of the bay.
